Richard Irons of Limerick Maine, a master restoration mason who has worked on historic houses and museum properties throughout the northeast U.S., is back by popular demand, visiting new properties this year in a presentation on the evolution of fireplaces, hearth cooking, and fireplace preservation. The tour includes an early Georgian home at 6 Independent Street, a Federal style home at 4 Fruit Street and a Greek Revival home at 21 Monroe Street.
